Featuring Francesca Martinez, Richard Durrant, Grace Petrie, Robb Johnson, Laura Ward & the Risen Road. Compered by Attila the Stockbroker.
Southwick radical performance poet Attila the Stockbroker has been a mainstay of the nationwide ‘Keep Corbyn/JC4PM’ tour, featuring a host of well-known names from comedy, poetry and music, which has been travelling the country campaigning for the re-election of the Labour leader and then celebrating his triumph!
Attila has put together a storming bill featuring some of the mainstays of the tour alongside some of our best-known local performers in an action-packed fundraiser for our local Labour Party. It’ll be a great night.
The line-up includes:
GRACE PETRIE – fantastic young political singer-songwriter from Leicester, as seen at Glastonwick….
FRANCESCA MARTINEZ – inspirational comedian, spoken word artist, author, actress and advocate of disability rights. Last seen at the Tackle promoting her acclaimed book ‘What The F*** Is Normal?’
RICHARD DURRANT – who, honestly, needs no introduction, local guitar wizard and socialist!
ROBB JOHNSON – incredibly respected radical songwriter and activist whose live performances are legendary and whose work is regularly performed by a wide variety of contemporary musicians from Roy Bailey to Barb Jungr
LAURA WARD & THE RISEN ROAD – Shoreham’s finest folk balladeers
All compered by Attila with poetic interjections. All proceeds to East Worthing & Shoreham Constituency Labour Party.
