This long awaited milestone for the ukulele is scored for solo uke with percussion, piano, bass, string orchestra and audience ukulele players (the Antiphonal Ukuleles).
Richard Durrant (ukulele virtuoso, composer and sometime producer of The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain) will prepare and rehearse a group of ukulele players to perform in the concert taking place on 21st April.
All ukulele participants need to play a soprano or tenor uke in conventional uke tuning – i.e gCEA or ‘My Dog Has Fleas’ with a high, or reentrant, bottom string.
Come along to three workshops and be part of the performance:

Saturday 21st April
11am Six Grooves Prep 45mins
5.30pm Orchestral Rehearsal 1 hour
